Parenting Education

Westbrook Youth and Family Services offers court-mandated parenting education classes for parents going through divorce, separation or other custody issues. The classes will be offered monthly.

What We Do

We strive every day to accomplish this mission by:

offering individual, couples and family counseling services to the community;

offering programs for children and their parents, women and girls, and young children;

the cooperation between the Westbrook school system and our marriage and family
interns who work together to give students the opportunity to be successful in the
school environment.

Counseling Services are available to anyone who needs this support. We offer a sliding scale fee. We do not turn people away based on their ability to pay.

Lego Family Build

As part of a shared program with Old Saybrook Youth and Family Services, families from Westbrook and Old Saybrook spent an afternoon together building windmills and learning about this valuable energy resource. Great creativity!

Trauma Resources

WYFS website includes a Resource Section, which includes r esources for parents and professionals helping children cope with trauma. Our thanks to the Westbrook Foundation for supporting the creation of this online area.

WYFS Gratefully Accepts Funds
